Description
A Good-rated secondary school is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive pastoral team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people to thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to address behaviour challenges and barriers to learning.
*
Support students with strategies to manage emotions, regulate behaviour, and improve engagement in lessons.
*
Build positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and trusted Behaviour Mentor.
*
Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to monitor progress and support interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth support setting.
*
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches.
*
Patient, empathetic, and able to build trust with students.
*
Confident managing challenging situations while maintaining a positive, professional approach.
*
A genuine commitment to helping young people succeed, both academically and personally.
