Providing tailored support to pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural difficulties.

Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning.

Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour–whether in education, youth work, care, or intervention settings.

Confidence, patience, and a proactive attitude to working in demanding educational environments.

Desirable but not essential: Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 qualification, or experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or Youth Mentor.

A valid Enhanced Child–only DBS (on the update service), or willingness to apply for one.

Eligibility to work in the UK.
