Charlie’s Angels Education are recruiting for a confident and engaging Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in the Princes Risborough area.

The school supports a small cohort of approximately 38 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with young people while maintaining clear, consistent boundaries.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in:

* SEMH or SEN settings

* Behaviour support

* PRUs / alternative provision

* Youth work or mentoring

* Residential children’s homes

* Mental health or CAMHS environments

* Supporting vulnerable young people

* Challenging behaviour and emotional regulation

You do not necessarily need extensive classroom experience. We are particularly interested in people who have strong transferable experience working with young people, can remain calm under pressure and genuinely want to make a difference in an education setting.

The ideal candidate will:

* Be confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

* Have a calm, patient and consistent approach

* Be able to build strong relationships with young people

* Understand the importance of boundaries and emotional regulation

* Be reliable and committed to the placement

* Be available to start ASAP

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service would be preferred, although Charlie’s Angels Education can support suitable candidates through the compliance process. xjnqpsq
