Teaching Assistant - Mental Health Autism ADHD

Location: Haywards Heath | Contract: Full-time, Term-time only | Salary: £90 to £105 per day

Join an Innovative specialist school catering for boys aged 5-11years with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger's Syndrome and those with a diagnosis of ADHD.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant - Learning Support Assistant - Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) - Autism - Asperger's Syndrome to support pupils to flourish. You'll work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver tailored support and make a real difference in children's lives.

Support children in class, small groups and 1:1 sessions

Provide emotional, pastoral and behavioural support

Build positive relationships and help pupils communicate with confidence

Assist teachers in delivering fun, engaging, inclusive lessons

Safeguard pupils and attend training and meetingsAbout You

Experience is not essential - we provide full training. You should be:

Passionate about working with children with Special Needs SEN

Caring, patient, adaptable and a good listener

A strong communicator and effective team player
