The Role – 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a Key Stage 2 pupil who requires additional support due to complex learning and behavioural needs. You will be responsible for helping the pupil stay engaged with their learning, regulate their emotions, and build positive relationships within the classroom.You’ll work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO, implementing tailored strategies and supporting the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional progress. The ideal candidate will be patient, consistent, and able to remain calm under pressure.This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, starting in September 2025.
