Location: Brent, London

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Daily Rate: £105 per day

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Brent is seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a long-term, full-time basis.

About the Role You will be working closely with a young student with high SEN needs, providing consistent 1:1 support to help them access learning and feel safe and supported throughout the school day. The role involves personal care and requires someone who is compassionate, resilient, and confident in supporting children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with significant SEN needs.

Assist with learning activities, communication, and social development.

Support with personal care and daily routines in a sensitive and respectful manner.

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to implement individual learning plans.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with children with special educational needs (e.g. ASD, complex needs, non-verbal pupils, or physical disabilities).

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

Comfortable providing personal care as part of your role.
