Stunning Vintage Japanese Laquered Wood Salad Bowl Set 1960’s

Description
This gorgeous set comes complete with its original box from the 1960’s and is in stunning condition. Obviously lightly used It includes a large serving bowl, 6 salad bowls and a large fork and spoon. It is made of deep burgund-colored lacquerware wood (wood that is repeatedly coated with lacquer). There are gold designs on the inside of all of the pieces and on the front center of the serving bowl. They include delicate landscape designs with pagodas and mountains. The storage box is large and blue with two front metal closures. The inside has the original fabric with indents to hold the bowls and fabric loops to hold the fork and spoon. A truly magical set!
The salad set is in very good condition. The box has wear from storage and time on the front and back.
