Sony Reader PRS-T1 is an incredibly light and thin E-reader that would satisfy and excel the expectations of the most devoted book worm. The brilliant six inch, E-ink Pearl, 16-level grayscale touchscreen is perfect for reading Lee Child or Stieg Larsson on a sunny beach or on the train home. It provides a glare and eye-strain free surface with high contrast for your eBooks to be displayed on, something that LCD displays struggle to achieve like the iPad. The touchscreen enables pinch-to-zoom, meaning no more eye strain caused by small text size, easy PDF navigation (rich word documents) and the ability to find the definition of a word by simply pressing on it with your finger. Unlike a Kindle, you aren't tied down to purchasing eBooks from one store when you own a T1. Using Wi-Fi you can access the Sony Reader Store where you can buy eBooks from Waterstones, WHSmith and Google Books; giving you more choice and better value eBooks. It's also the first e-reader with public library access, this means you can borrow eBooks from your local library and read them on the T1. You can write notes on the page using the stylus or highlight passages of text. Other notable features are the headphone jack for listening to audio books and the expandable memory (up to 32GB inserted into the micro SD slot). You can even browse web pages on the Reader. A massive one month battery life, 2GB of internal storage (1,200 books) and a stylish gloss black finish make the Sony PRS-T1 the dark-horse of E-readers. Feature's you'll love: Slim and stylish with featherweight dimensions (168g, 8.9mm thick), its lighter than a paperback book Read eBooks on the anti-glare, paper-like, E-ink pearl display.
