Professionally remapped by renowned Subaru specialists RR-S Ltd - now called Unit 8 Performance Centre Ltd in Perth, Scotland.

This was carried out on the 2nd of July 2019 at 106,000 miles during the long term ownership of the last keeper.

Remapped reliably to a Dyno proven and beautifully linear 307.2 bhp @ 5,272 rpm and 328.4 lb-ft of Torque @ 4,332 rpm.

The Dyno graph is within the photographs for proof.

The car is capable of being incredibly fast across any given road.

Delivering blistering performance, immense grip, traction and huge excitement.

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec D is a special edition of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI that was designed to be more discreet and refined than the standard model.

It features a toned-down exterior and interior, with a focus on reducing the visual aggression of the standard STI, while maintaining all of its performance capabilities.

Key features of the Spec D include:

A Discreet Exterior:

The most noticeable difference is the exterior styling. The Spec D comes in a discreet Metallic Grey colour and has a more subdued look with a smaller rear wing, and Silver rather than Gold alloy wheels.

Interior Changes:

Inside, the Spec D features black leather seats and black carpets, replacing the blue suede and carpets of the standard STI. There is also additional sound deadening to improve refinement and through-loading in the rear seats.

Performance:

Despite the more subtle appearance, the Spec D still packs all of the STI's performance punch, with the same 2.5-liter turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive system.

"D" for Discreet:

The "D" in Spec D stands for discreet, highlighting the model's focus on a more understated look.

Rarity:

The Spec D is a special edition and is not as common as the standard STI, making it a more unique find for enthusiasts.

Essentially, the Spec D was designed by Subaru to offer a more mature and refined version of the STI, appealing to drivers who appreciate the car's performance but prefer a less ostentatious appearance.
