We appointed Bourdon Hill to prepare the structural design for a discreet rear extension to our townhouse in Pimlico. Extending a listed building is never straightforward, but BH handled it extremely well. We needed structural designs for a mansard roof extension in our Kensington home, and their team had expert knowledge both in engineering and construction. They worked closely with our architect to ensure the design was both compliant and easy to follow for the contractor. We ended up appointing them to further sign off the installation of the steelwork to ensure it was done properly. Brilliant service from start to finish!

We instructed Bourdon Hill to ascertain if certain walls we wanted to demolish in our new flat were solid walls or partitions. This was requested by the management company of our mansion block as part of obtaining a licence to alter. Their turnaround was quick; they were able to visit the property in the same week and they also brought someone to open up the walls, saving us finding someone this early in the process. Their knowledge of the building from a structural perspective as well as high-value leasehold properties & building management processes really set them apart - definitely recommended!
