Quad, makers of the legendary electrostatic loudspeakers and some of the world’s best hi-fi kit also make conventional speakers - to their usual very high standard.

I’ve used Quad kit since my days as a music student many years ago so naturally chose their L-ite AV speakers.
These consist of a centre (340 mm x 135 mm 160 mm deep) and four satellite speakers (225 mm x 135 mm x 160 mm deep) - small monitors that can function as fronts and rears - all finished in a very high quality high gloss piano black finish. They can all be wall mounted as each has a standard threaded insert in the rear that will fit most specialist speaker brackets.

One very careful owner from new (I’m a fussy former classical pianist). These were used to listen to programmes recorded on our PVR and never worked hard - in a no pet household with the children long departed.
We have downsized and have switched to a simple Quad two channel stereo system with ribbon speakers to match our electrostatics. Everything is packed in the original packaging.

Originally this system cost eleven hundred pounds.
