Description

For sale is a Lemega M2+ model Internet radio . This is a rare model, now deleted by Lemega , but sought after, because Lemega deleted some of the features present on this radio in their newer range ..a disgraceful decision. Thankfully, they're still present on this one.
The radio is a DAB*DAB+ FM-INTERNET model with access to thousands of stations worldwide . It has Spotify built in, ( Spotify will play all day once connected ) It has Bluetooth also . If you look at the pics you'll see it has an AUX in-( for an mp3 player for eg ) a LINE OUT ( in stereo ) This means that you can connect the line out jack to a normal HIFI amplifier , or powered speakers or a normal stereo tape recorder or PC . ( It is almost impossible to find a bedside type radio that has a line out skt these days .) The radio also has a LAN socket . This means you can connect a cable directly to your router if it is close by . Naturally , it also has WIFI built in too, so a cable isn't needed . ( I will throw one in anyway ) It also has a separate headphone socket ( in stereo of course ) .

It also has a USB socket . This socket supports a USB stick filled with MP3 songs , or WMA coded songs and unbelievably, it supports FLAC files too . In later models of this radio, the USB has been omitted , as well as the line out and LAN features . It also has a 'kill all' switch at the back, very handy when you have the occasional crash and need to reboot . It also has sleep and alarm controls. It has 20 presets each for DAB-FM-and INTERNET , but if you open an account with the Airable hub online, you can store thousands of stations online for instant recall.( even create folders on the radio itself )
The radio itself has a nice tone reminiscent of radios of old. It is in very good condition and obviously has some slight use marks having owned the radio for a few years . You will also notice it has a carry handle . The Lemega M2+ does not have a handle, I fitted this one myself ..
The radio does not support a remote control, but the great news is that if you download the UNDOK app ( on google play store ) you can control every function from your phone . It works superbly ( indeed much better than a traditional remote ) Also, if you have all your music stored on your phone, you can play them through WIFI ( as well as bluetooth ) to the radio..and all controlled from your phone.

NOTE - Now this radio runs on its own power adaptor , but it can also run on a special battery, which I don't have anymore . Over the years, the battery slowly lost its capacity and I threw it out with a view to buying a new one eventually , but alas , I could not find one anywhere. ( you may have better luck ) I have seen some examples of the battery online, but I'm not sure whether it is the right type / or / will work or not , therefore I didn't order one ( the battery is a 3X 18650 type but with a special charging circuit on top , all wrapped in blue tape material ) . I am not bothered about this, as it is used as a bedside mains radio only, so I never bothered about portability, but please be aware of this . If you want to carry the radio outside or around the house, this isn't for you.

This radio cost about £125 new around 2017-19 so this is a terrific bargain . If I could find a brand new one ( in walnut ) somewhere again, I would probably buy another. It looks and sounds great ( EQ built in too ) and the breadth of stations worldwide it pulls in still takes my breath away . I will also throw in an extension for the power adaptor jack ( should a power socket be far away ) and, if needed , a couple of 3.5 short cables to connect to a speaker set nearby ( if you have them )

Feel free to ask about and check out all the features if interested ..( or come and see it working ) It's a real bargain here and a wonderful 'do it all' radio..( and very rare these days ) ..
Any questions , ask, and I will respond the moment I see them.
