Meridian dsp6000. Hi-res. Fully re-capped.

Description

For sale are my Meridian dsp6000 digital loudspeakers. These date from the late 90's. They were fully re-capped with high grade capacitors and had the hi-res dsp boards fitted around 2011. This work was all done by a qualified ex Meridian employee. The uprated black tweeters were also added. This set is unusual in that they come with the symmetrical 'centre' speaker head, instead of the odd looking flat down one side heads. The whole speaker looks much better with these head units, and these speakers in the Hi-res version are like hens teeth, and quite rare.

The cabinets are in good condition, with just a few marks, and the heads are also in good condition, apart from a mark on the rear of one head, otherwise a few little marks around the cabinet. The drive units are all in very good condition. There are no side covers or boxes with the speakers. Comes with new head unit cables and all other necessary cables, plus the MSR+ remote control.

These are quite heavy at 65kg each.
Price is firmly fixed at £2000. They cost me £2700 about a year ago.
These speakers have a very clear sound, with lots of bass grunt, and a huge soundstage.
