Rashid & Rashid Solicitors, specialists in immigration, family, and human rights law, are seeking enthusiastic law students or recent graduates to join our busy practice in Wimbledon as volunteer paralegals.
Role Overview
This is a valuable opportunity for those interested in immigration and family law to gain practical legal experience. You will assist solicitors with day-to-day casework, administrative support, and client interaction, while developing an understanding of how legal cases are prepared and managed.
Key Responsibilities
Reception duties: welcoming and assisting clients.
Opening, maintaining, and organizing client files.
Drafting, filing, and preparing case documentation.
Supporting solicitors with immigration and family law matters.
Observing and learning office procedures and client interactions.
Ideal Candidate
Current law student (2nd or 3rd year) or recent graduate.
Professional, reliable, and eager to learn.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Well-organized with attention to detail.
Interest in immigration, family, and human rights law.
Terms
Volunteer / part-time (flexible hours to accommodate study or other commitments).
