Hours per week:

Live in with 2 and half hour break each day

Hourly pay rate:

£250 live in day/break coverage £15 per hour

I am looking for a live in carer to work alternate weeks. I am a disabled 50 year old female living in a bungalow and I also photophobia.

I need a driver over 21 so that they can access my automatic wheelchair accessible vehicle. I have pets including a cat. I live on the border of East and West Sussex.

Duties include:

- Moving and handling

- Other relevant duties as required

- Housekeeping

- Shopping

- Cooking

- Transportation

- Companionship

- Looking after pets

- Gardening

- Dressing / undressing

- Bathroom assistance

- Assistance at meetings

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Must be comfortable with pets

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
