I have been working with Katharina in Cambridge since 2021 as one of the accompanists for her performance classes, and experiencing the way she works is inspirational. She is able to identify whatever will unlock the singer's connection with the aria or song, and watching the performer then inhabit the music and establish a powerful connection with the audience is a joy. Katharina also teaches the singers to collaborate in a meaningful way with the pianist and other musicians, and so working with her is rewarding and always a privilege.

I have been studying with Katharina in Cambridge over many years, taking individual singing lessons and participating in her performance classes. It is a joy both to study with her, and to observe her teaching others the whole art of singing. She spends a great deal of time and effort tailoring her teaching to each individual, creating a sensitive and supportive environment. In this way she achieves excellent technical results while at the same time encouraging singers to find expression and creativity within the music. She is absolutely first-class!
