One of the first blues guitar instruction books. In two parts: Part One includes Rudiments of Music Reading, Basic Rhythms and Chords for Vocal Accompaniments, Solo Blues and Fill Ins. Part Two Includes Music, Words and Guitar Accompaniments for songs as played and sung by Josh White. It was an influential book for the fledgling UK blues/folk scene and is thought to have been the first blues guitar instruction book ever published. Published by Boosey & Hawkes (1956).
