The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Supplier Quality Engineer?

Manage and support the Non-Conformance ProcessAct as liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement for material issuesConduct Supplier Audits, verify corrective actions, and drive improvementsAssist in First Article/First Piece Inspection and Configuration Audits (for our client or supplier sites)Coach suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activitiesCoordinate efforts for non-conforming material, engaging with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsReview data from incoming inspections and ensure compliance within inspection systemsSupport the ISO 9001:2015 Supplier Quality System and assist with internal/external auditsProvide support during customer and DCMA visits related to part qualityInvestigate and resolve customer complaints regarding part qualityEvaluate and approve new suppliers, ensuring risk management and compliancePartner with Supply Chain Management to approve/disapprove suppliers as requiredTake responsibility for personal health and safety in line with company policy

What are we looking for in our next Supplier Quality Engineer?

Strong background in root cause analysis and leading problem-solving teamsWillingness to travel up to 50%Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, Minitab, and other QA toolsSkilled in GD&T and use of metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and/or batteries (preferred)My client is keen to get this position filled ASAP, so if you feel you have the skills and desire to provide passion and drive as the next Supplier Quality Engineer, this is the opportunity for you!
