Are you ready to lead transformative projects that will shape the future of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service? We are looking for a project manager to deliver high-impact initiatives that support our Annual Delivery Plan and out ambition to be an outstanding Service. You’ll act as a change agent, driving organisational development and enabling innovation across the Service. This is a dynamic role where you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, influence strategic decisions, and ensure successful transitions from projects to business as usual.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, quality and budget Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and objectives Manage risks and provide accurate reporting and financial oversight Produce essential project documentation and communicate progress to the organisation Facilitate and manage change to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual Coach and mentor Project Support Officers, promoting their continuousExperience/Qualification

Experience and a track record of managing projects in various sectors Hold a relevant project management qualification and a degree (or equivalent) GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent) Proficient and skilled in project governance and change management Understanding of project management methodologies Proven leader with the ability to motivate and develop individuals Ability to use tact and diplomacy with stakeholders at various levels Hold a driving licence (adjustments will be discussed with disabled applicants if required)Why NFRS?
