Description

The Opportunity –

We have an exciting opening within our Bristol–based Software Quality Assurance team for an engineer eager to develop their process–driven quality assurance skills while contributing to a wider Quality Assurance community.

You'll work on a diverse range of software programmes, supporting project activities alongside software development teams. Your role will be key in ensuring advanced systems meet the highest quality standards and are delivered to trusted partners worldwide – a vital mission in today's rapidly changing global landscape. This is a chance to make a real impact while building a rewarding career in Quality.

What We're Looking For –

In this role, you'll focus on software quality assurance through strict adherence to processes and standards. We're seeking someone who can:

Apply knowledge of software development, full lifecycle processes, and quality assurance in a process–led design and development environment.

Understand software processes, including relevant national and international standards and assurance requirements.

Use auditing skills to assess compliance and identify improvements (auditing experience is advantageous).

Build strong, collaborative relationships across all programmes while maintaining objectivity and influencing change where needed.

Lead Project Quality Assessments, highlight risks and critical issues, and contribute to monthly reporting.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and remain calm under pressure when priorities shift.

Work independently as well as in functional and integrated teams.

Hold an Engineering degree or equivalent experience, with an understanding of new and emerging technologies.

Possess knowledge of configuration management, documentation control, and requirements management systems (highly beneficial).

Location: Bristol or Hertfordshire (relocation package may be available, case by case consideration)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – typically 2 to 4 days per week on–site, based on workload requirements.
