Oracle APEX Solutions Engineer

Bristol, Leicester, or Plymouth (2 days per week onsite)

400 – 500 per day (Inside IR35)

6–month contract

Active SC clearance required (used within the last 12 months)

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Oracle APEX specialist to join a major defence programme, delivering digital solutions that directly support the UK naval fleet. This is a chance to apply your expertise in a role that combines technical leadership, hands–on development, and collaboration across multi–disciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing

Shaping technical solutions from requirements through to delivery.Building innovative applications using Oracle APEX, with efficient and reusable design.Writing complex PL/SQL code to support data validation, import/export, and business logic.Applying JavaScript to enhance and optimise web–based applications.Participating in Agile ceremonies and demonstrating progress to stakeholders.Collaborating with BAs, PMs, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to deliver effective solutions.What You'll Bring

Proven track record in Oracle APEX application development.Strong PL/SQL and database development skills.Practical JavaScript experience.Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, and configuration control.Excellent communication skills with the ability to share knowledge and influence others.Why Join?
