Office Manager: part-time 20 -24 hours GBP28 - 32k (pro rata as applicable) Bourton On The Water

About us.

We are a growing business providing electrical services both domestically and for large scale projects. We are driven, passionate, professional and expanding fast to meet demand.

What are we looking for?

We are at a point of growth and now need someone to join our team and help structure and run our office in terms of communication, scheduling, administration and financial administration.

We need someone who can bring strong organisational skills and can create order out of good intentions! We need you to take ownership of both the business and financial administration of the business, embracing the delivery of new processes recently designed in collaboration with external consultancy. These include clear tasks & responsibilities for this new role, and as there is no one currently in post we require someone with experience of operating in a post with similar responsibilities previously. We want someone who can implement the design alongside us, working at a senior level and helping us to keep customers and suppliers happy as we grow.

The job specification includes the use of Xero for financial administration, the use of Fergus as a CRM (customer relationship mgmt.) platform for scheduling and so you need to be comfortable with the use of IT, although you do not require specific experience of these software tools. The role also includes customer service and office management.

Who are you?

The successful applicant will be able to provide clear examples of where they have owned a complete role with responsibility for decision making and delivering change, of attention to detail in providing strong administration at both a finance and a business level, and will be positive, professional and personable as the role is a key contact point both for the team and the customer.

You may have previously held a similar (or more senior) role and be looking for a change, or a chance to step back into the workplace. We see this as an opportunity to grow with us.

To find the right person we are happy to offer this as a part time role and to embrace flexible working around school hours or other commitments you have. We would like you to be a fundamental part of the business and we see this as a role that can grow with you. In return we would like you to bring an evidenced skill set of creating and working with strong administrative systems, managing the administration of schedules, calendars, and leaning in to deliver change. You will need to be happy with embracing new IT platforms and have experience of working with Xero or

another finance platform, raising invoices/receiving in bills and managing suppliers and customers.

You will be a team member, but also pro-active, a self-starter and happy to propose and implement change and improvements.
