Description

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Administrator to join an established HR team in Castle Donington. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide professional administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate record-keeping, smooth HR processes, and compliance with UK employment legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator or someone working towards their CIPD qualification who is looking to develop their HR career within a fast-paced private sector environment.

Salary and Benefits

Maintaining accurate employee recordsPreparing contracts, offer letters, and variation documentationProcessing new starters, leavers, and contractual changesManaging the HR inbox and responding to routine queriesSupporting HR reporting, including absence, turnover, and headcount dataAssisting with recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding processesCompleting right-to-work checks and managing referencesProviding payroll with accurate monthly dataSupporting training administration and tracking mandatory learningAssisting with employee relations administration, including disciplinary and absence processesSupporting policy updates, audits, and compliance checksAbout you

CIPD Level 3 qualification (or be working towards it)2-3 years of previous experience in an HR Administration role within a private sector organisationStrong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detailGood working knowledge of HR systems and processesUnderstanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practiceConfident written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationshipsGood time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectivelyPrevious payroll support experience (desirable but not essential)Great work ethic, flexible, proactive approach and willingness to learn
