The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven UK Sales Manager to lead and develop our domestic sales operations. This is a key leadership role focused on driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning and effective team management. You ll be responsible not only for direct customer relationships, but also for leading a national team of field–based Area Sales Managers to ensure consistent, high–level service and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a UK sales strategy to grow market share and meet revenue targets. Manage, mentor, and support a team of field–based Area Sales Managers, setting clear KPIs and providing ongoing development and performance feedback. Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, buying groups, and customers in the UK automotive aftermarket. Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities across existing and new customer channels. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy. Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Product, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction. Report on team performance and sales funnel progress to senior management. Person Specification
Proven success in sales management, ideally within the automotive aftermarket sector. Demonstrable experience managing a field sales team to meet and exceed targets. Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and relationship–building skills. Analytical and strategic thinker, comfortable with reporting and forecasting. Able to travel across the UK as needed.
