Sales Account Manager Consumer Products Full–time – Cambridgeshire

The Opportunity

This is a high–impact, hands–on Sales Account Manager role where you'll take full responsibility for a portfolio of strategic retail accounts. You'll lead all aspects of the commercial relationship, from presenting new ranges and securing listings, to forecasting, stock planning and data analysis.

This is a great opportunity for someone currently operating as a National Account Executive or NAM within FMCG or consumer goods, looking to take a step up in ownership, exposure, and accountability.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing national retail accounts in the UK

Leading sell–in conversations and presenting new product ranges

Driving forecasting and stock planning in collaboration with supply chain

Analysing sales data to identify opportunities and optimise performance

Acting as a commercial partner to your accounts, growing business year–on–year

You'll be working in a close–knit team with direct visibility and input into broader strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy, and being hands–on across all areas of account management.

The Person

We're looking for a commercially–minded, results–driven account manager with strong retail experience and the ability to spot and act on growth opportunities.

You'll likely bring:

A track record of success selling branded or private label products into major UK retailers

Previous experience as a National Account Executive or National Account Manager

Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing end–to–end commercial relationships

A can–do, self–starting attitude with the ability to work independently and at pace

Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple moving parts

A desire to be part of an SME culture where you can make a visible difference
