GBP40k – GBP50k Basic + Commission, Car Allowance, 23.5 Days + Banks, Pension & Healthcare Plan etc.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative organisation delivering secure and sustainable solutions for end–of–life technology equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing copper cabling and precious metal–bearing materials, including circuit board components for both internal use and a sister company.

Key Responsibilities

Source and purchase electronic materials cost–effectively and on timeCreate and manage purchase orders aligned with project needsTrack market prices (e.g. LME) and negotiate supplier termsWork closely with internal teams to meet delivery and quality goalsIdentify and manage UK–based suppliers; monitor performanceEnsure compliance with environmental and quality standards (e.g. WEEE, ISO 14001)Maintain procurement records and support process improvements

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a procurement role within the e–waste recycling industry.Experience sourcing electronic components or cabling (desirable).Solid understanding of precious metal–bearing materials and circuit board components.Knowledge of environmental permits, WEEE directive, and ISO 14001.Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, CRM platforms (ideally HubSpot), and Excel.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and supplier management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
