Procurement Manager Opportunity Annual Salary: up to GBP60k per annum (DOE)Location: High WycombeJob Type: Full-time Join our team where we invest in growth and people. We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to help us cut expenses and focus on the professional growth of our employees and organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage a large network of suppliers and partners effectively.

Day-to-day of the role: Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.Develop category management strategies for key spend areas, including cost reduction initiatives.Lead supplier selection process through RFPs, negotiations, and contract management.Analyse spend data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and value improvement. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring ongoing performance and alignment with business goals.Collaborate with suppliers on innovation, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and address any issues promptly. Procurement Strategy Development: Define and implement a long-term procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.Develop procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with sourcing and supplier relationships. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across different departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.Communicate procurement strategy and goals to key decision-makers.Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory management and delivery timelines. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.Generate reports on procurement performance, including cost savings achieved and supplier compliance.Utilize data analytics tools to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Deep understanding of market dynamics and supplier landscape (ideally within medical or healthcare sectors)Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with procurement systems and tools.Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
