An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to join a well–established public sector organisation providing administrative, logistical, and estate management support to Reserve units and cadet organisations.

As a Communications Manager, you will develop and deliver the organisation s communications strategy across all media and stakeholder channels. This full–time, permanent role offers a salary of GBP36,530 and benefits. Closing Date – 20th August.

You will be responsible for:

Leading the marketing and public relations function across a wide range of regional initiatives and eventsDeveloping and implementing annual communications plans aligned with organisational objectivesManaging the creation and delivery of digital and social media contentProducing press releases, newsletters, case studies, video content and web updatesMaintaining brand consistency and ensuring adherence to brand guidelinesLiaising with external agencies, partners and stakeholdersManaging the organisation s website including SEO optimisation and analytics reportingLine management of a Communications Administrative Officer

What we are looking for:

Previously worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager, Communications Manager, Public Relations Manager, Marketing Manager, PR Manager, Marketing Officer, Marketing and Communications Officer or in a similar role.Minimum of one year in communications, public relations, or mediaMust be eligible for relevant security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the roleCommunications or marketing qualification (or relevant equivalent experience)Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel extensively across the region

Ideal candidate will be someone who have the below:

Proven experience in crafting press releases, web content, case studies, advertisements, and video materialsKnowledge of digital marketing and social media platformsPrior involvement in event coordination and SEO campaign management
