You are looking at a used but in fantastic working condition Makita DHR183Z bare tool SDS hammer drill. There is no battery included within the sale. The battery was used to prove the drill works flawlessly.

One thing to note is that combined with the anti-vibration handle this SDS drill has one the lowest vibration test scores in the industry at 7.5 m/s when hammer drilling into concrete vs other Makita SDS drills and the competition. This is really noticeable and in my opinion and also important.

It is extremely light for the power it produces and is the ideal drill for drilling overhead with it’s extractor at a weight of 2.3kg combined (drill + extractor).

It produces 1.7J of power at a 1.6kg bare tool weight. Very few drillls achieve this combined power to weight ratio.

The SDS drill comes with the following also:

- Makita DX16 Dust extractor. This is fantastic and only relies on the fan of the sds and doesn’t require power from the drill which the Makita DHR242 dust extractor does. It is in fantastic working condition.

- Makita DX16 dust exactor rubber dust ports x 5. For use when the original one wears.

- 10 x pairs of Ear protector plugs (20 total). Essential for when using noisy equipment such as an SDS drill.

- Anti-vibration handle and depth gauge. The handle has dampening built in and flexes to reduce vibration even further on the operators hand.

- 1 x small bottle of chisel grease. For use every say 3 months to keep the tool holder well greased (already applied in the last week)

1 x sticky tyvek tape & permanent marker – Due to being in fear of having my tools stolen I have marked up on the drill and extractor my initials/name. Should you wish to cover over you can with a combination of really sticky tyvek tape or just with a marker.
