Job Overview: We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work on an ad hoc, temporary basis for a number of logistics clients based in Hatfield. This role is ideal for drivers who are looking for flexible working patterns or to supplement existing work.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for local and/or national deliveries and collections

Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey in line with DVSA standards

Ensure timely delivery of goods to various destinations

Complete and maintain accurate records of delivery paperwork and tachograph data

Adhere to all road transport legislation and company policies

Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding schedules, delays, or incidents

Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred

No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)

Strong understanding of driver hours and working time directive regulations

Good communication and time management skills

Flexible and available for short-notice bookings

Desirable: Previous experience with refrigerated, curtain sider, or trunking work

Local knowledge of Hatfield and surrounding areas
