£30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, office-based (Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–3.30pm)

Commutable from Harrogate, Ampleforth, York, Thirsk, Boroughbridge

Are you highly organised with an eye for detail and a passion for technical problem-solving? We’re looking for a Purchasing & Technical Assistant to join our team in Helmsley.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting our purchasing function and assisting with technical requirements across the business. You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team where your skills will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the purchasing team with supplier management, sourcing, and order processing

Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation

Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of materials and components

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures

Provide technical support to projects as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a technical support role

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret technical documents/drawings (advantageous but not essential)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

A proactive approach and willingness to learn
