Description
1985/1992 This is most probably a later deck as it has the improved VTA adjustment screw to the headshell. This also means it takes the arm from low mass, into medium mass therefore making it more accepting of various cartridges in the market and not just the OM series, which, though good, can definitely be replaced and improve sound significantly.
One of the top decks of its time with a hefty price tag.
This has been serviced having new bearing oil to platter bearing and motor.
Brand new OEM belt. Comes with new Acrylic platter upgrade for better bass response, if you follow that theory. Original platter is also included. Brand new record clamp to complete the upgrades.
Lid is virtually mark free and the whole deck presents itself in top condition.
Ortofon om20 cartridge and also comes with spare cartridge for 78rpm.
Sounds fantastic and if it weren't for my Planalogue I would be keeping it.
Set up for anyone to have a listen.
These sell for more than I'm asking and I think this example is almost spotless.
