For sale is an immaculate, virtually as-new Denver VPL-120 suitcase turntable in striking red finish. It has been meticulously cleaned, cosmetically refinished to a very high standard, and safely stored in a dry, stable cardboard box environment.
This unit comes complete with its original power adapter and is ready to get you spinning records immediately.
🔧 TRANSPARENT AUDIOPHILE UPGRADES & MODIFICATIONS:
* INTERNAL AMPLIFIER BYPASS (Crucial Upgrade): If you know anything about suitcase record players, you know their built-in internal speakers sound incredibly thin and poor. To fix this, the internal speaker amplifier has been intentionally disabled. This completely removes internal electrical noise and vibration.
* PREAMP FULLY OPERATIONAL: Please note that the turntable’s internal phono preamp remains 100% operational. This means it outputs a standard line-level signal, making it incredibly easy to plug straight into the “Aux”, or “Line In” inputs of an amplifier/active speaker setup without needing a separate preamp box. Has been tested through both my vintage Portogram Series 5000/TEAC/JVC system (not for sale) and the Arcam Alpha/B&W system which I have up in another listing. Worked perfectly with both.
* CONNECTOR SERVICE: All rear RCA output jacks and power connectors have been treated and serviced with professional Kontakt 10 Super contact cleaner to ensure total longevity and completely crackle-free signal transfer.
* ISOLATION FOOT UPGRADE: To prevent vibration from making the needle jump, the base has been fitted with brand-new, high-quality EVA foam audio isolation feet to promote enhanced sound, cooling, and completely protect your wood, glass, or metal furniture from scuffs.
* BRAND NEW STYLUS: Supplied with a brand-new, unplayed spare stylus needle for total peace of mind and pristine tracking – this is on order and should arrive within a day or two. If the item is sold before it arrives, I will post this to the buyer at my own cost the day I receive it!
* PREMIUM CABLE INCLUDED: Includes a brand-new, boxed set of low-resistance gold-plated RCA connection cables (purchased yesterday from Currys) to make connecting it to your amplifier effortless.
*Please note: The original cardboard retail packaging for the turntable is no longer present, but the unit is in immaculate, near-flawless cosmetic condition.*

If you are also purchasing the British-built Audiophile equipment package I have listed, you can have a demonstration of the entire setup. Payment by standard gumtree system preferred, or direct bank transfer on collection – we will document for protection of both parties.
