AGA Rayburn Hybrid 2 oven Cooking Range Solid Fuel in excellent condition

1973 Royal H1 model in white

One of the last quality cast iron versions built before Aga took over the Rayburn company in 1974 and cut corners in the build quality

You won't find one restored to this extent, cheaper anywhere else

very cheap to run and maintain (if burning wood) save a fortune on your heating bills

very efficient and economical

Superior design

very low service cost (our one has never cost more than £2 every year to service in the 16 years we have had it)

wood is available freely, you don't see oil or gas for free.

we burn woodchip on ours overnight
And lots of paper briquettes

Multi fuel capability of a Rayburn, but fuels the same way as an AGA.

Has the standard everlasting VE cast iron boiler that will run 2 -3 rads + DHW
It has been pressure tested to 4 bar.
I can remove the boiler and replace it with bricks if you want a cooker only model.

The white enamel is very good other than a few stains as shown in the photos.

The black top is scratched as is common, and it is also chipped in places, again as shown in the photos
otherwise in great condition all round, really clean and tidy it would not look out of place in a brand new kitchen

solid fuelled, will burn wood OK but as they have small aperture (4 3/4'') it has to be small (2x4'' is OK up to 18'' long)

we have been running one of these versions since 2008 (nouvelle based one)

does not get the horrible staining between the doors that front loading ones get, also less likely to get sparks flying out and burning your carpet.

This is ready to install and use straight away unlike most that are advertised.
