Description
Amateur Astronomers doing a project on making a 'Radio Telescope' - require a 1 metre+ sized satellite dish. Then we can refurb it and hopefully pick up radio signals from the Milky Way at 1420Mhz (this is the techie stuff we learning from scratch). Any old unused dish, but has to be over 1 metre dia, smaller sizes apparently wont detect the signals. Can collect if within 50mile. Hopefully end result will inspire younger astronomers who were wowed by the eclipse. Glen.......
