I am looking to rent out a room in the house I am the only resident (male).
This is an old Victorian family house that I am moving into myself. Improvements to the house will be made over time as modernisation is needed.
10 min walk to Stroud town centre. On the flat so no hills to climb.
Open fires are still used and good source of house heating. Enough firewood to last several winters.
Rent money will be used for improvements and would focus on areas to improve the tenent's living standards.
No mortgage on the property.
A proper driveway will be built later and so it is better for someone who doesn't drive. No problem for motorbikes.
Shared bills of electricity, gas, council tax, water, TV license and so on.
