LOOKING for a long term Double Room in Sheffield. I know it says Ecclington but I'm looking anywhere in Sheffield

Hi, I’m Lily, 25, and I’m looking for a double bedroom in Sheffield to move into within the next month or two.

A bit about me:
- I’m very clean and tidy (a bit of a neat freak!).
- I have a super friendly, well-behaved dog.

Nia is well-behaved, placid, and loves people — she settles really well at home

I prefer renting with only a few people as I think it's better than a house of 5 especially with having a dog.

My interests include reading, photography, socialising, and spending time outdoors. I’ve travelled a lot and even lived off-grid before, which I’d love to do again one day.

Happy to hang out, go hiking or do anything outdoorsy. Go gym. Cook together - I won't know anyone but also happy to do our own things.

I’ll be upfront — I know most landlords and housemates prefer someone already employed, and I understand this isn’t the most typical situation. I’m currently working but can’t commute that distance every day, so my plan is to secure a place first and then transfer my life to Sheffield. I realise this might feel like a bit of a risk, but I’m very reliable, hardworking, and committed to making it work.

If there were an easier way to do this, I’d take it — but the reality is that the best way forward is to secure a place first and then find work in Sheffield.

I can provide references and I’d be more than happy to come for a viewing so you can meet me (and of course, my dog 🐾).

I’m looking for a double bedroom in Sheffield to move into within the next 4–8 weeks. MAX £650 pcm. I don't think financially I could move any sooner.
