The Charity of Mrs Mabel Luke is a registered almshouse with a small number of flats for local working age people.
We currently have a first floor, 2 bedroom flat available to let. The Charity rules require any interested applicants must have a connection to the Newbury or Greenham area for a minimum of 2 years; that could be living or working in the area.
The flat would suit a couple with one child, or one adult with two children.
The Charity lets flats on a licence agreement which has less security than a tenancy however we would not seek to ask people to leave if they adhere to the licence agreement they enter into.
The monthly payment for the flat, including service charge, is £870.26 reviewed annually in April of each year.
Please note, the Charity has a strict no pets policy and it is a non-smoking site.
