I have used James several times both professionally and at my home. When you find a good tradesman you want to keep his contact and use as a 1st call. James and his team has proved themselves constantly and never have let me down. Technical knowledge , honesty and keeping to what is agreed is why I can say James is a good builder

I wanted to convert my garage into a family room so I hired him. After he fitted the radiator, my boiler stopped working and i had no hot water, he said that it is not his responsibility but the plumber who came to fix it said that the new radiator was full of air and that was the reason but still he refused to pay him and i did to solve the problem. Then he disappeared for 4 days and was not answering phones or texts then he said his dog died and I sent him my regards and condolences. Then he said that he didn't get the window from the factory yet despite saying that he got it before and when I asked him he said that he was confused between my window and another window. Finally after he got all his money, he didn't sent someone to take the garage door as he promised and i have been chasing him for 2 weeks and every time I get the same answer : "I will call him" Job was not done well. Please be careful when you deal with him and don't be deceived with the good reviews as I did.

Very pleased with the service from the onset. We have a Victorian house that required some external repair and maintenance work to the brickwork. A number (over 400 in the end) Of bricks needed replacing. The brick were crumbling and had lost their integrity consequently causing damp in the house. From the beginning of our interaction James proved to be an effective communicator. He respond quickly to my initial enquiry and arranged to come and asses the work. Throughout the whole project James reliability and time keeping have been outstanding. He assessed the work and provided a quote on the same day. After engaging James he continued to respond quickly to my enquires. Work started ahead of schedule - despite the present climate! Communication continued to be effective during the work. James kept me updated regularly with the changing needs of the project which included regular photo updates. James completed the job on time. The site was left clean and tidy with all debris removed. I truly can’t fault his service. I will definitely be using him again for my next project(s)
