Hello I am Simon,
Hi, I have some new up to date reviews for the work I have returned completely to, plumbing, carpentry, electrics, kitchens. bathrooms, tiling, painting & decorating.
I'm sixty now and take as much care now as I always have done.
I never rush my work and always pay attention to details and listen and also ask questions until you & I are happy with the work requested is understood.
Of course you're welcome to change things as we go along.
The older reviews seen here are of the wedding side of what I also do - did.
Only photographing a few weddings a year then the dreaded covid pretty much put paid to that.
And so I have since converted my profile to my real area of work but felt these reviews reflected well my attention to detail and customer service.
Not having used this Bark platform before to gain my normal work is why I had no reviews initially, I have still kept the older reviews as doing weddings as a photographer and although people say they will leave reviews, well, when the couple return from the honeymoon there are other things to do.
I have been working in the building trade since 1981 and 7 years later I started out on my own hence the 88 in the title as in 1988.
Having become a drainage engineer with my uncle he put me through college for plumbing and this has led me to where I am today.
The areas I cover are, plumbing, drainage, carpentry, electrical, tiling, central heating (not boiler fitting nor repairs) and decorating.
Kitchen and bathroom complete or partial fitting.
Areas I don't cover but have contacts for, ground work, brick laying, roofing and plastering.
Carpentry came naturally because of all the alterations often needed during my work.
The electrical side came about due to fitting electric showers and wiring central heating systems when I was Gas registered.
Now furniture making has become part of my work and I have converted the garage into a workshop.
