THESE GUYS ARE CHARLATANS. THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB. RUINED OUR BRAND NEW CARPETS AFTER WE BEGGED THEM TO PROTECT THE FLOOR PROPERLY AND THEY ASSURED US THEY DID NOT HAVE TO. DID NOT PREP WOODWORK BEFORE PAINTING EVEN THOUGH WE OFFERED PRIMER SO PAINT HAS IMMEDIATELY STARTED CHIPPING AND PEELING OFF. WHERE THEY DID PAINT THE LINES ARE TERRIBLE. WHITE BITS LEFT IN CORNERS WHERE THEY DID NOT PAINT ACCURATELY.. LIKE EVERYWHERE! ONLY DID ONE COAT OF PAINT AND TOLD US THEY DID TWO SO YOU CAN SEE WHITE UNDERNEATH SOME THIN SYROKES OF PAINT. DID NOT CLEAN UP THEIR DUST SHEETS OR TAPE AROUND DOORS.. PAINTED SOME OF THE HINGES BUT NOT OTHERS. LEFT RUBBISH IN THE HOUSE. MADE HOLES IN THE WALLS. TOOK PLUG SOCKETS OFF AND DID NOT SAFELY PUT THEM BACK. PUT A RAIL UP IN A PLASTERBOARD WALLED CUPBOARD WITHOUT LOOKING FOR THE JOISTS AND SAID IT WOULD BE FINE TO HANG COATS FROM. IT HAS TEARED DOWN THE WALL. DID NOT CLEAN UP AND LEFT PROMISING TO RETURN AFTER TENDING TO A SICK FAMILY MEMBER AND THEN REFUSED TO RETURN OR EVEN SPEAK TO US. HIRE THESE GUYS IF YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE RUINED AND TO BOOK SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX THE MESS THEY LEAVE.

I contacted HML Painting & Decorating to get some wood veneer wallpaper put up in my living room and hallway, very pleased with the quality & work, as not all tradesmen were keen on taking this job on. Hassan & Malik assessed the walls and condition also explained every step of work. Very satisfied that I went with HML painting & decorating to carry out the wallpapering for me. Any day will recommend these guys.

The wallpapering was done to a poor standard unfortunately. Paper was not cut straight leaving serrated edges. Some mis alignment in the pattern repeat. Paste stains left on wallpaper. Poor communication throughout. When queried everything was not his fault. I paid full price as quoted so they would leave. They were the cheapest quote though, and this was why.

HM Painting was a very trustworthy professional company. Rahim always did what he said and gave us lots of advice and guidance when it came to decorating our home. They always turned up on time and was upfront with times and expectations. Our house is now a home. Despite it being an old victorian building, they made uneven walls look good and cleared up after. We will be using them again to decorate our bedroom in the near future. We give them 100% recommendation
