From Roellke orchid nursery in Germany.
Coarse grade pumice 20mm-30mm.
Can be used on its own or mixed with other substrates. It provides structure, aeration and moisture regulation with the porous surface absorbing excess moisture, releasing it steadily back into the substrate as required by plant roots.
Pumice is a volcanic rock.
