English Bluebells (Hyacinthoides) Non Scripta.
The true English Bluebell is a must-have plant for any wild or woodland garden. Gently arching stems carry pendant bells of purple-blue frilled blooms, filling the air with fragrance on warm April days.
This classic spring beauty is easy to grow and will naturalise in humus-rich soil in dappled shade, forming a picture-perfect carpet of blue. The flowers are adored by bees, attracted to the white pollen-dusted stamens by their perfume and vibrant colouring.
A native gem which looks beautiful planted with Primroses and Wood Anemones for a wild and quintessential British look.

(English Bluebell) Perfect for naturalising in woodlands or other cool, semi-shaded sites. Seeds freely and colonies are soon formed.
Plant 10cm (4”) deep, 5-10cm (2-4”) apart.
