Yamaha UX-5 a very rare find top of the range hand built Yamaha upright piano reconditioned in our workshop #yamahaux5 The Yamaha UX5 is part of Yamaha’s U-series, which means it is one of the best-made uprights you can get.
The UX5 can be thought of as an upgrade to the U3 because it has been made from better materials to a higher standard
The Yamaha UX5 has a curved bridge which means it has longer strings than the standard U-series pianos (longer strings is a good thing)
The UX5 has an x-brace for support at the back, so the structure is that little more stable
The Yamaha UX5 has ribs that extend to the soundboard edge
The Yamaha UX5 has carefully weighted keys which should make for a more responsive touch.
