Description
Hello,
My name is Julia. I am an experienced piano teacher and alumna of The State Music School in Opole, where I studied music (1st - 7th Grade) for 11 years.
I offer individual piano and keyboard tuition to children (from 5 years of age) and adults, beginners to advanced.
Tuition takes place either over Skype / WhatsApp / Zoom or at my home in Walthamstow (10-minute walk from Blackhorse Road tube / overground station).
If you are a complete beginner, I will give you all the basics, step by step: reading music from scratch, playing, exercises to improve technique, music theory, history of music, improvisation and building chords. If you are a more advanced piano player, I will help you improve your technique, interpretation and understanding of music, and also teach you effective practice exercises.
So, whatever your reasons are for wanting to take lessons - preparation for exams or pure pleasure - I'm very flexible and can accommodate you.
My approach is friendly and encouraging, and it is important to me that you not only make progress but also enjoy playing and practising. I often use relaxation techniques with my students as I believe it has a crucial impact on performance.
After these classes, you will see how much fun it is to be able to play the piano!
All age groups, all levels welcome!
My rates:
£24 per 30 minutes
£35 per 45 min
£43 per 60 min
I also offer gift vouchers for those wanting to gift a new skill to a loved one:
* 10 sessions for £390
If you would like to book a lesson or have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Julia
