I have been teaching and performing for over 40 years. So I have much experience in my profession. I have Registered Private Teacher Status with the Incorporated Society Of Musicians. I also have a DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
I am thorough with my teaching, giving pupils training in technique together with teaching them how to relax with the correct posture at the Piano. I have a wide intake of adult pupils as well as children. Entry into exams is encouraged and advised but never urged. I aid my pupils to develop a varied repertoire of pieces through their guided choice. All music is purchased through me. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I have a good friendly relationship with all my pupils. I invite all to visit for a free consultation before taking up the lessons .
For younger pupils I offer opportunities for them to perform in concerts and festivals. I have developed my own reward system for children.
I am the Entries Coordinator and Official Accompanist for Newcastle Festival. I am a performer as well as teacher and perform for weddings and events.
I have accompanied and conducted local choirs and I am a Cocktail Pianist. I have played regularly at Bella Italia in Crewe.
For weddings, I have a wide repertoire from Classical, Jazz to current Pop styles. I am able to accommodate the music of your choice for the wedding service, reception and wedding breakfast. I am self contained with my own electric Piano and sound system. I can also offer my singing of Pop ballads.
