We were looking for a photographer for our wedding at the Devonshire Arms Hotel in Bolton Abbey and Chris was our top choice. His page looked great and had plenty of experience and many great reviews online. From the moment we contacted Chris he was quick to respond, listened to our ideas & plans for the day and was very helpful. On the day Chris was professional, but also friendly and relaxed. He scouted the location when he got there to find his own spots to take our photos as well as accommodating our choices of photos and locations. I would definitely use Chris anytime and would recommend him to anyone. We are very pleased with the photos he took for our special day.

Chris was very amenable from the start. We booked Chris during lockdown and from our first chat via email to the wedding day Chris delivered everything and more than we expected. We met him once before the big day to look around the venue. He had some ideas but was willing to listen and take on board what we wanted too. We only wanted 20 staged photos and left the rest for Chris to take as he wanted. We ended up with 667 photos telling a story of our wedding day from the beginning to our first dance. We hardly knew Chris was there taking photos. He was unobtrusive but friendly. The guests commented on how friendly he was too. We would highly recommend Chris. Jan & Chris Wiseman

I’m a journalist and was recommended to Chris’s work by a colleague who was familiar with his stuff. I actually needed someone to take pictures at our wedding but I wanted a less formal approach and being a journo I also wanted to put work to a fellow ‘news bod’. From the first contact, I knew we had made the right move in getting Chris on board. He was easy to communicate with, knew what we were looking for and after our first meeting with him we knew that he was right for what we wanted. On the day of our wedding he couldn’t do enough for us in terms of making people relaxed for the photos and he certainly captured the essence of our special day. The photos he took were absolutely outstanding and we will have a difficult job choosing those we want to put in an album. We were so impressed with Chris’s work and his professionalism and have no hesitation in recommending him. I hope I can work with him again professionally in the not too distant future too.

We asked Chris to take family photos as a brthday present. He was fantastic to work with and made the session really easy and fun. What stunning photos as a result. He caught the magic of our garden and house but most of all the family feel in a relaxed way. We cannot fault the quality of his work and have been mightily impressed. A huge recommendation from us!
