Rare: Peugeot 205 CTi 1.9 -- Off Road setup.

Selling as I have too many projects.


Key points:

1.9 block (original). Engine runs perfect.
Restored wheels (shot blasted and powder coated).
Full service (timing belt/water pump etc) completed June 2021. (<1k miles ago).
All missing exterior and interior parts available.
New lighting.
New windscreen.



Mods (required for classic trial):

Raised suspension (Xzara front springs, turned one spline at rear).
1.9 GTi front hubs & brakes, 309 front arms & drive shafts
Stripped Rear interior. All missing interior parts (Seats etc) available.
Fuel lines run internally (not under car)
Sump Guard.
Compressor (for adding air to tyres during event).
Stainless exhaust sits close to body of car to reduce risk of impact.
Wrapped body (For Trial quality, not concorse/show). Paint under it is pretty good on all but one panel (Front left wing afaik).
GPS Based second speedometer.



As per normal on a CJ/CTi: Convertible Roof is in rough shape. Weatherstripping is in rough shape. Gear changes can require a little more gusto than normal due to box orientation to shafts. Electric roof doesn't work (I haven't tried to fix it as I don't mind just flicking the roof back manually).

Maintenance work completed by JBM (Jim Beam Motorsport)



This project would be suitable for either someone looking to run classic trials or restore this car back to a normal running 205 CTi. I have all parts available upon request. You could drive this car away in current state and into a classic trial and pass both road requirements and trial requirements.
