Hi to all animal owners, my name is Johanna and I live in Ruislip, Middlesex. I run a professional pet care and Dog walking business, Johanna and Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Service's.

I offer a friendly, trustworthy and reliable service giving my customers and loyal pets 100% satisfaction with a meet and greet.

I have owned a number of different animals throughout my life including Cats, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, fish. I currently own 4 of my own rescue dogs. I have a real passion for animals and know how important they are to us parents, they are one of our family. I currently walk a number of different dog breeds each week of different sizes. My company offers all types of Pet sitting and dog walking services and I will try to accommodate all your needs.
At present I am looking after 2 cats on ad hoc days, one of which is diabetic where I need to inject insulin.

For dog walking I never ever use dominance based techniques when out walking, I use positive reinforcements and I reward the dogs for good behaviours. I allow them to lead the walk and allow them to sniff, this allows mental stimulation as well as physical stimulation when out for walks. I will never force them to do anything they do not want to do, i.e. going near another dog, getting in a car etc. I do not take the dog off lead until I am satisfied there is good recall and check-ins, this could be the 1st walk or after a week or so. I do 1-2-1 walks or in pairs but I never take more than 3 dogs at a time as I like them to all have my full attention.

I offer animal boarding at my home for small mammals, i.e. hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits.

I am a car driver with an unmarked car and I am willing to travel, my car is kitted out with a comfy dog hammock and seat belt harnesses to keep your dogs safe, I also have a cooling mat for in hot weather to keep the dogs comfortable while travelling. I also offer a pet taxi service for your pets.

I am fully insured and also DBS previously CRB checked. I can provide references from current and past clients.

I have completed an Animal Training and Pet Sitting course (which includes First aid), I can provide certification for this. I have also finished studying for an Animal care and Dog walking diploma level 3 with a distinction, this also included a practical working with a dog behaviourist which I have now completed. I am now working towards my level 4 canine behaviour management.

I currently do volunteer work for a well known dog charity, working directly with the dogs once a week.
