Gala is inspired by being surrounded by dogs, which makes her feel connected to nature and humility. Her fascination with canine communication, particularly how they peacefully resolve conflicts, led her to pursue a career in canine care and training.
Gala holds an L3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour, and Welfare. During her studies, she gained a deep understanding of canine behaviour, care, and first aid, which she applies to her work. She specialises in behaviour modification, focusing on fear and anxiety using Desensitisation and Counterconditioning techniques. Gala also has experience with puppy socialisation and basic obedience training, where she teaches essential safety commands. Her ability to assist dogs in emergency situations brings her peace of mind and ensures their well-being during her work.
Gala has a strong interest in behaviour modification, especially working with dogs experiencing fear and anxiety. She uses Desensitisation and Counterconditioning techniques to help dogs overcome these challenges. In addition, she enjoys puppy socialisation and basic obedience training, where she focuses on teaching safety commands to ensure well-adjusted and well-behaved dogs. She is also qualified in Dog Grooming and loves it!
In five years, Gala aims to further her expertise by learning more about Assistance Dog Training and taking a course in Canine Hydrotherapy. She envisions herself continuing to help dogs and their owners, particularly in behaviour modification and training. With her passion for outdoor adventures, new challenges, and sports, Gala is committed to building even stronger relationships with dogs while expanding her knowledge in the field
